A Bronze Age bowl barrow is visible as an earthwork, measuring approximately 25 metres in diameter. The barrow was excavated in 1848, from which a primary inhumation accompanied by a flint implement and bronze dagger, and a second inhumation were recorded. The barrow is visible on air photographs and was mapped as part of the Staffordshire National Mapping Programme project. The earthwork is extant on the latest 2010 vertical photography. Scheduled.
