Summary : Parish church largely rebuilt in the mid 18th century and again in the 19th century. It is on or near the site of the Benedictine nunnery of Farewell and contains 14th century fabric which may be part of the original fabric of the nunnery. Plan of chancel, nave, West tower and South porch.

Church of St Bartholomew with 14th century chancel. The remainder was rebuilt in 1745. The former church was attached to a small priory of Benedictine nuns of which no traces remain. (2)

The church contains Mediaeval fabric which may have come from Farewell nunnery. The church may be on the site of the nunnery. (3)

The church is in use for public worship. (4)
