Summary : A Bronze Age round barrow situated on Ugthorpe Moor at the north edge of the North York Moors. The barrow has an earth and stone mound standing up to 1.6 metres high. It is round in shape and has a maximum diameter of 24 metres. In the centre of the mound there is a hollow caused by excavation in the past. The barrow was also mapped as part of the North York Moors National Park NMP and is extant on the latest 2009 vertical photography. Scheduled. |

The Bronze Age round barrow was also visible as an earthwork on air photographs and centred at NZ 7807 1028. The barrow has a maximum diameter measuring approximately 23m and has a prospection pit of uncertain date dug into its centre. The barrow is extant on the latest 2009 vertical photography. (4) |
