It has a diameter of 9.5m. and is 0.9m. in height. There is no recognizable kerb. (3) NZ 614126. Tumulus on Cod Hill; "has a very large slab headstone". (4) 0173 Godhill Cairn, Guisborough NZ 6137 1268. Prominently sited on the top of a moorland ridge at 290m O.D., this is a stone cairn. It measures 8m in diameter and stands 0.8m high. It is bound on the north, east and west sides by the remnants of a megalithic kerb. The cairn has been extensively disturbed and now has deep depressions on the south and north-west sides. On the north side, a modern marker cairn has been erected, utilising cairn material, against a large earthfast boulder which protrudes from the cairn. Recent aerial photographs have revealed a rectangular arrangement of fields, defined by stone walls and slight banks, attached at its south-west corner to the cairn. The slight nature of the banks suggests only a short period of cultivation, and the stone of the cairn may result from field clearance. (5)
