Summary : Two Bronze Age round barrows on Haw Rigg. The northernmost barrow is 18m in diameter and 1.3m high. There ia a 1.5m wide, 5m long and 0.6m deep excavation trench. The second barrow is 25m to the south. It is 14m in diameter, 0.6m high to the west and 1.2m high on the east. The top of the barrow is dished so that its centre is 0.5m above the ground. The barrows have been mapped from air photographs as part of the North York Moors NMP and are extant on the latest 2009 vertical photography. Scheduled. |

The two Bronze Age round barrows are visible as earthworks on air photographs. A depression is visible in the northern barrow, centred at NZ 6889 1088, the second is centred at NZ 6891 1086. Both are extant on the latest 2009 vertical photography. (4) |
