Summary : Alleged site of a Roman turret derived by measurement from other monuments. No visible remains as the area is built over.
More information : Turret 6b was located 308 yards west of the west rampart of Benwell Fort; on this basis [the average distance between turrets], the centre line of Turret 6a should come some 90 yards east of its east rampart [i.e. at about NZ 217647]. (1) The area is completely built up. (2)
