Late 16th century deer parks to Brancepeth Castle. A Possible park boundary comprising a bank 4 metres wide and 0.4 metres high, and a ditch 3 metres wide and 0.4 metres deep was identified in 1980. Parts were landscaped during the late 18th/early 19th century. The landscape park contains lodges, remains of fishponds and a walled formal garden. The west side of the park is enclosed by iron railings. Late 19th and early 20th century work included further development of the walled formal garden, lawns, rose garden and shrubberies. The southern area of the park was adapted as a golf course in 1924. (5)
Landscaping took place in 1783 and may have involved a partially executed design of Adam Mickle. The pleasure grounds were laid out during the early 19th century but have 16th century origins. (6)
