The features referred to above are possible prehistoric or Roman boundaries, perhaps the remains of trackways and a field system. They are visible as cropmarks and have been mapped from aerial photographs. The cropmarks may represent a number of phases as they overlap in parts. A potential Neolithic cursus (described in SU 67 SE 108) appears to be partially overlain by part of the field system. The trackways are defined by parallel ditches and are situated at the far north-west and south-east extremities of the cropmarks. The field system is defined by a series of perpendicular ditched boundaries. The cropmarks are centred at SU 6515 7015 and are bounded by the following grid references: SU 6565 7023, SU 6590 7109 and SU 6555 6974. (Morph No.s TG.321.1-5)
