Roman pottery sherds and numerous coins have been found at
Boxford Rectory. (2)

Palmer makes no reference to coins but states that "on the site
of Boxford Rectory numerous fragments of Roman pottery were
collected".

Boxford Rectory, now 'Boxford House', appears to have been
built c.1860-70, and the finds were probably made then". (3)
