BADDESLEY HOSPITALLERS PRECEPTORY

This preceptory was originally a member of Godsfield before 1167, but replaced Godsfield (SU 63 NW 7) as residence of the brethren before 1355. Dissolved 1540. Baddesley Manor, the successor of the Preceptory, contains 16th and 17th century brickwork but is mainly circa 1780. Nothing visible remains of the Preceptory.
