WINCHESTER BLACKFRIARS

Dominican Friary founded by 1235 and dissolved in 1538. The friary was dedicated to St. Katherine, and was situated in the High Street, near Eastgate, to the East of St John's House, with the River Itchen on the East and Busket Street on the West. There are no remains of this frairy; the site being fully developed.
