HALE HOUSE

ALTERNATIVE NAME:  Hale House

Country house constructed by Thomas Archer 1712 and remodelled in c1792 by Henry Holland. Also altered in the 19th century. It comprises seven-bays and two-storeys and was contructred on the site of an earlier house. Originally brick with stone dressings and slate roof.
