Barn's Farm, to the north of Woodgreen, possibly preserves the site of the grange called Barnes forming part of the priory of Breamore at the Dissolution being last mentioned in 1581-2. (2)

The present house and buildings at Barn's Farm are modern and no trace of any earlier work which might be connected with the Monastic Grange was seen. (3)
