More information : (ST 93694128) Tumulus (GT) (1) A much spread bowl barrow, 45 paces in diameter and 3 feet high, south of the R Wylye, Knook. (2) At ST 93684130 is a very spread mound 0.8m high. Possibly a barrow though it is extremely large and in a low lying area. (3) No change; report of 19.2.69. correct. (4)

ST 9368 4130. A bowl barrow located on the flood plain of the River Wylye, 300 metres west of the river and 44 metres south-west of East Farm. The barrow mound has been spread by ploughing and now measures 46 metres in diameter and up to 1.1 metre high. A downcut path truncates the mound to the west. The original ditch has been covered by the spreading of the mound. Scheduled. (6) |
