More information : ST 95464432 A bowl barrow, 15 paces in diameter, located and measured from air-photographs. It was excavated by W Cunnington, as the first barrow he ever opened and contained a primary cremation in an inverted urn accompanied by a bronze dagger which Grinsell suggests may have been ritually broken. (1-2) A bowl barrow 11.0 metres wide and only 0.2 metres high at ST 95464431. Surveyed at 1:2500. (3) No change; report of 13.3.69. correct. (4)
