Summary : Lynchets of a large IA/RB field system probably extension of Codford Down
More information : (Area ST 99854315) Lynchets, noted by Crawford. (1) There are no lynchets in the area noted by Crawford, and his reference is probably an error for ST 988431. Here some half dozen well preserved lynchets survive from a large IA/RB field system, probably an extension of Codford Down (ST 94 SE 7). Only fragments are visible as soil marks on the air photograph and the boundary is uncertain. (2-3)
