Summary : Founded 1235 as a leper hospital, and an almshouse by 1490. Dissolved circa 1539. It was under the patronage of Shaftesbury Abbey. It probably stood near the Town Bridge in St Margaret Street. It is possible that Halls' Almshouses, founded 1700, may perpetuate the site.
