WEST BITCHFIELD

Tower of 14th century date, altered and extended in the 16th and 17th centuries. The wing to the right of the tower, was refaced in the late 17th century and the house was restored and extended again in 1935. The 3 storey tower has a vaulted ground floor and a staircase set in the thickness of the wall. Moat and barmkin of 14th or 15th century date.
