MONUMENT NO. 204910

A group of five Bowl barrows in Tumpy Field were excavated before destruction. The barrows contained primary cremations one of which was accompanied by a shale bead and ring. Roman coins and pottery were present as well as secondary inhumations. A Neolithic pit with pottery and flints was also found.
