Summary : The approximate site of Roman turret 16B, part of the defences on Hadrian's Wall. It is thought to lie under the 18th century Military Road.

Sited 230 ft east of the fence to the south of the Great Northern Reservoir. (2)

No visible remains. Site covered by modern road. (3)

The turret was said to have been located by Hepple (see authority 2) but there appears to be no entry in Hepple's notebook (4a). No visible remains; in area NZ 0680 6826 the turret is thought to be under the Military Road. (4)
