Priddy Nine Barrows

Summary : A pair of bowl barrows forming part of the group known as the Priddy Nine Barrows, the remaining seven occurring as a linear group some 150 yards south. Both are extant as earthwork mounds.

Marked as 'large barrons' on Skinners map. T335/6 (2,3)

These are two large bowl barrows.
T.335 (Chewton Mendip 14) (a) is 1.7m high and has a mutilated top andtraces of a ditch.
T.336 (Chewton Mendip 13) (a) is 1.7m high.
