More information : [Centred ST 488 517] 'Celtic baulks and lynchets'(1-2) A series of large fields formed by low but well defined banks. Almost certainly medieval and associated with a small medieval farmstead site at ST 48885160; unexcavated but surveyed by Bristol Arch. Research Group in 1964. Of minor archaeological significance. (3) 'Pre-medieval' (ie 'Celtic') fields in the area St 489516. Slight, under pasture. (4) ST 488517. Well preserved remains of a deserted Medieval hamlet situated on a sloping field now used for pasture. The foundations of a rectangular stone-built building, and several rectilinear outhouses can be seen. To the west, a small square field is visible and the remains of a larger field system. Scheduled. (5) Field system and associated Medieval hamlet/farmstead well defined on air photographs. (6)
