Summary : An uninscribed Roman milestone was found on Dere Street when the modern road was lowered. It is now situated on a ridge to the NE of Waterfalls farm. Scheduled.
More information : (NY 91078085) An uninscribed Roman milestone found when the modern road (superimposed on Dere Street) was being lowered 150 yds south of the twelfth modern milestone from Corbridge. It marks the twelfth Roman mile from Corbridge, and here the road changes direction. It is now on the ridge to the NE of Waterfalls Farm at NY 91218159. (1-2) The stone, formerly upright (See photograph) is now recumbent. (3)
