Summary : Preceptory of Knights Hospitallers. Possibly founded in the time of Henry III and dissolved before the 15th century. In 1338 there was one brother besides the preceptor, with a chaplain, a clerk, and others. It appears to have been absorbed into Buckland Abbey in the 14th or 15th century.

clerk, and others. It appears to have been absorbed into
Buckland Abbey in the 14th or 15th C. (1)

ST 1086 0976 There are no visible indications of the monastic
site, and it was probably demolished and rebuilt as the farm
and outbuildings, cottages. etc. The foundation (?1250) and
dissolution (?15thc) dates are by no means certain. (The
siting symbol is centred at the farmhouse). (2)
