Sewingshields Farm built in the early 19th century, of two storeys with a slightly set back extension to the right. Built of square stone with tooled and margined raised quoins and ashlar dressings, the roof of stone slates. The rear elevation is built of squared rubble re-used from the Roman wall. 20th century alterations to the house include the addition of a glazed porch. Grade II. (3) |
