Summary : The approximate site of Roman turret 32A, part of the defences on Hadrian's Wall. It is now buried beneath a modern road.
More information : [NY 8409 7090] Turret [G.S.] (Site of) [T.I.] (1) At a normal distance beyond Milecastle 32 is the site of turret 32A, located in 1920. (2-3) There are no visible remains; the site is mainly covered by a modern road. (4) No surface trace, the site of the turret is mainly overlain by the modern road. Meaured position at NY 8409 7091, but this cannot be verified. (5) Located on the English Heritage map of Hadrian's Wall 2010. (6)
