Summary : Ill defined rectangular platform set into slope. An old diverted watercourse encroaches on the platform suggesting it may have been a mill.

NY 82393234. An ill-defined rectangular platform 10.0m. E/W by 7.5m.
transversely set into a NE facing slope. Probing revealed the
footings of a wall around the edge of the platform. An old diverted
course of Marchesgill Sike encroaches on the platform around its SW
and NW sides and continues downhill towards the NE suggesting that
this is possibly the remains of an old mill.
