More information : A sub-circular feature, potentially a Bronze Age round cairn, is visible as a cropmark centred at SD 5239 7280 on aerial photography. The ovoid cropmark suggests an embanked former mound or compacted surface, possibly plough-dragged into an irregular shape measuring 26.3 x 12.2m. A second, Scheduled round cairn (UID 1393686) survives as an earthwork 26.5m to the north, in the same field (1).
