Summary : Possible remains of the 1918 wreck of a Portuguese cargo vessel, located approximately 3.7 nautical miles north-west of Trevose Head. The BRAVA was a steel-hulled steamer, en route from Bordeaux to Cardiff with a cargo of pit props, when she was torpedoed by the German submarine UB 125. 05-DEC-1952: Sonar contact in approximately 503400N, 050830W.
17-MAY-1979: Possible wreck located in approximately 503416N, 050630W using Decca. Not further examined.
18-MAR-1991: No wreck found here when dived or when surrounding area was searched using echosounder.
26-MAR-2010: Located in 5034.516N, 0507.545W [WGD]. The least multibeam depth was 45.14m in a general depth of 47.1m. No scour. Length 12.6m. Width 12.5m. Height 1.91m. The wreck is orientated 129/309 degrees. Probable debris. (1)(2)
