More information : Indistinct cropmarks suggesting an oval enclosure are visible on air photos at SD1349 8119. A feature such as this, if it is of archaeological origin, may be of later prehistoric date. It measures approximately 65x43m and is oriented near north to south through its long axis. This feature is located in the same field as the Giant’s Grave standing stones (UID37326). A similar enclosure lies 400m to the north-east (see UID 1604204). A linear feature in the same field at SD1356 8132 is likely to be the remains of a post medieval field boundary and has not been mapped.(1-2)
