| More information : A network of medieval / post medieval hollow ways and trackways are visible as earthworks centred at approximately SJ 8410 7240 on historic aerial photography but appear to have largely been levelled by the latest 2010 vertical imagery. The hollow ways may be associated with potential contemporary field boundaries (UID 1602663) located between the main branches of the trackways, and also with the large hollow way and other earthworks (UID 76472) located 120 metres to the north, beyond the lake belonging to Capesthorne Hall (1-3). |
