Summary : The fragmented cropmark remains of a large curvilinear enclosure of uncertain date, possibly prehistoric, visible on aerial photographs. The site lies adjacent to the extensive remains of a Roman villa estate complex (Monument 338766), one boundary ditch of a large associated field system appearing to cut the ditch of the curvilinear enclosure.
More information : The fragmented cropmark remains of a large curvilinear enclosure of uncertain date, possibly prehistoric, visible at SP 5330 1332 on aerial photographs. The site lies adjacent to the extensive remains of a Roman villa estate complex (Monument 338766), one boundary ditch of a large associated field system appearing to cut the ditch of the curvilinear enclosure.(1)
