More information : A block of possible medieval ridge and furrow, a possible flood defence bank and a short length of drainage ditch, both of post medieval date, are visible as earthworks historic air photos around SE4289 5309. These features are located on the flood plain, between the elevated site known as Hunsingore Hall (UID 55147) and the River Nidd. The 2008 air photos and the lidar data indicate that the plough ridges and bank survive as earthworks but the hollow of the trackway has now been filled in. (1-3) |
