More information : [NY 7388 6748] Building stone (Roman Inscriptions in Britain No. 1643) found in 1929 built into the fourth course above ground of the south face of Hadrian's Wall, 65 yards west of the point where the fence from Well House abuts from the north against the Wall, and 130 yard west of turret 40a. Inscribed c.p.p. (1)

[NY 7390 6748] The stone has been relocated, and is on the fifth course from the ground. It is much worn, and the inscription is now illegible. The stone measures 0.2m x 0.15m and the central recess is 0.1m x 0.1m. (3)
