Summary : 1944 wreck of stern section of American Landing Ship Tank which foundered approximately 11 miles SW of Hartland Point, after being torpedoed in convoy en route Liverpool-Milford Haven-Falmouth, and thence to Normandy. Constructed of steel, this craft was powered by engines, and laden with steel and smaller landing craft.
