These linear boundaries are reminiscent of a co-axial field system and could therefore be Late Prehistoric or Roman in origin, but they also align to modern field boundaries suggesting continued use into the medieval and post medieval periods. This is probably a continuation of a field system visible to the north (UID 1533289). (1) |
