Summary : The Owls' Aviary at London Zoo is a pheasantry-like structure which was built in 1905. It is a 30 metre long row of open cages in front of shelters which were originally built of wood, but now of concrete blocks. The wire mesh cages have a light tubular metal frame situated on a brick plinth.
