Summary : A seventeen-storey H-plan tower block built as part of a public housing development. The block contains 99 dwellings. The development was designed by the City Architect in association with Gillinson, Barnett and Partners. Construction is of reinforced concrete with hollow-pot floors and brick clad cavity walls. The block was approved for construction by committee in 1963.

Marlborough Towers was officially opened by the Rt. Hon. Alice Bacon MP on 12th March 1966. (2)

Tersons Ltd.'s tender for this contract was £1,571,121. The contract also incorporated three other seventeen-storey blocks at Theaker Lane and Charing Cross. (2)
