Summary : A marble statue situated to the west of Three Island Pond in London Zoo. It depicits a man fighting a lioness over two lion cubs and is larger than life size. It was sculpted by Henri Teixeira de Mattos (1856-1908) and donated to the London Zoological Society by J B Wolff in 1906.
