DURHAM COURT

ALTERNATIVE NAME:  NEW TOWN REDEVELOPMENT

Four slab blocks linked with deck access at first floor level. The blocks were built as public housing as part of the Hebburn New Town Redevelopment to the design and specification of the contractors, Stanley Miller Ltd. Construction was approved by committee in 1971 and took place in 1974. Two of the blocks have since been demolished.
