More information : A ring ditch, perhaps the remains of Neolithic or Bronze Age round barrow, is visible as a cropmark on air photographs at NZ2410 0019. It was approximately 12m in diameter and lay 105m to the south-west of the neolithic monument of Scorton cursus (UID 23599), This feature was, at one time buried beneath one of the concrete runway of RAF Scorton airfield (UID 1409216) but has now been destroyed by quarrying (UID 1486121).(1-2)
