Summary : The site of a Second World War prisoner of war camp at Fort Crosby, known as Camp 678. This was a German working camp and could have been in use up until 1948. The camp was associated with a former coastal battery and heavy anti-aircraft battery and could have occupied their disused buildings. The camp has since been removed and the site is currently sand dunes.
