PRISONER OF WAR CAMP 256

The site of a Second World War prisoner of war camp at Willingham House, known as Camp 256. This was a German work camp, where prisoners worked as labourers in the local area. It could have been in use up until 1948. The camp has since been removed and Willingham House was demolished in 1976. The site is currently occupied by a depot.
