Summary : 1916 wreck of Norwegian cargo vessel, which foundered in a position variously described as 15 miles off Land's End; 23 miles south half west of Wolf Rock; or 26 miles SW of the Longships, after being scuttled with explosives. The last position equates to approximately 9 miles SE of the Isles of Scilly. At the time of loss she was en route from Cardiff for Marans with coal. Constructed of steel in 1910, she was a steam-driven vessel.
More information : Dimensions: 501 tons gross, 254 net, 160 x 26 x 12.4 feet.

Built as TRENT for her first owner, 1910, but sold almost immediately into Norwegian service, when she was renamed SKJOLDULF.

02-DEC-1916: Stopped by UB-18 and scuttled with explosives 23 miles south half west of Wolf Rock, en route from Cardiff for Marans with coal. (1)
