Summary : Remains of Second World War heavy anti aircraft battery at Little London. It was manned by 221 Battery of the 91st Royal Artillery Regiment in 1940. It was armed with four 3.7-inch static guns in 1942, upgunned to four 5.25-inch guns by late 1944, and was retained as a Nucleus Force Headquarters Battery in 1946. The sire includes all four emplacements with their engine houses, the command post, guardhouse/gunstore, and the generator house.
