Monument Number 1471173

Hob Uid: 1471173
Location :
Cumbria
Allerdale
Silloth-on-Solway
Grid Ref : NY1133054057
Summary : Two field boundaries of possible Roman date running approximately parallel were seen as cropmarks and mapped from air photographs. The field boundaries run northwards; their northern-most extent cut by a feature which is separately recorded as NY 15 SW 9. These boundaries may follow the projected line of other field boundaries to the south, and so might potentially be linked with the field system recorded as NY 15 SW 10.
