Summary : A section of Roman road is visible as a cropmark on air photographs. Two parallel ditches run along a northeast-southwest alignment spaced approximately 10m apart. Occasional internal banks are also visible as cropmarks and mark the location of the road proper. This section forms part of Dere Street.
