More information : NY 4508 6241. A Post Medieval path or walk, probably a landscape feature associated with Scaleby Castle, is visible as a slight earthwork on aerial photographs and has been mapped by English Heritage's Hadrian's Wall NMP. The feature appears as a flat topped bank with a ditch on each side. Its west end is adjacent to the castle moat, and it extends 170 metres to the east, passing the south side of a tree enclosure ring (NY 46 SE 188). (1-2) |
