The enclosure was partially excavated in 1974 but no firm date was obtained. The enclosure appears to have been partially destroyed by a Roman gravel pit (UID1451496). |

The fragmentary remains of up to three curvilinear circuits of ditch are visible. The enclosure was partially excavated in 1974 but no firm date was obtained.
