An extensive magnetometer survey was carried out around the existing designated area and the alleged location of the ST ANTHONY. A particular significant anomaly was located to the north of the designated area, and subsequently investigated by divers. It was found to be the remains of a small steel vessel comprising four light frames attached to three plates. The plates, including corrosion products, were approximately 1.5 cm thick. (1) |
